1-ON-1 Practice

Requirement: Must be a previous D2K2 Tactical Student

Need help fine tuning your shooting? This class is designed for you. In this 1-on-1 range session, you will get individual instruction from an NRA certified instructor. One hour session includes range fee, targets and safety equipment. Ammo and gun rental not included.

Beginner Group Training

This is an introduction to handguns designed for a group of students with no previous shooting experience. The class consists of [ ] hours of classroom training and [ ] hour of range time for actual shooting. Students will learn the basics of handguns including:

Gun safety rules
Identifying key parts (and function) of handguns
Loading/unloading
Grip
Stance
Sight alignment/Sight picture
Trigger pull

Ladies Firearm Training

D2K2 Ladies’ introduction course is a classroom and range-based orientation to build your training foundation.

D2K2 wants women to be prepared, feel safe, and able to enjoy a new sport. We’re confident you will thrive from our guided educational opportunities and feel empowered by the experiences provided.

Ladies will learn:

Core firearm safety principles, including safe handling practices and range guidelines
An overview of common handgun styles and how to determine which option best suits your needs
Foundational shooting techniques such as grip, stance, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control
Common terminology used in shooting and an introduction to how a handgun operates
Step-by-step instruction on safely loading, unloading, and checking a handgun
A general overview of local laws and requirements related to firearm ownership and purchasing
Exposure to recreational and competitive shooting opportunities for shooters of all interest levels
